Dallas Symphony Orchestra

A pleasant reminder of why I chose to be a photojournalist; I get the privilege to be in some incredible places. Hearing world class musicians warm up right in front of me- my heart swells up, reaches out through the lens and grabs as much as it can to try and remember that beautiful moment.

Tubas

The first photo I have taken down here in Dallas that I have been proud to stand behind.

cutline: Sharing their seats with their large instruments, the Eagle Band tuba section sings the "Pokemon Song," a pre performance ritual for them, while on one of the 18 buses that carries the 600+ member Allen Eagle Band from the practice field to the Allen High football stadium on Friday, October 16, 2009. Lilacs

Two photographs from the Lilac Festival in the Spring. For the first time in months I have access to a scanner!

I'm not sure how much time was in between these photographs, but I do know the distance-they were at least 300 feet apart. The boy in white really likes to run through the lilac bushes, maybe I should have spent my day following him around.
